Nigeria Wheelchair Project

The longing to move freely, spend time with valued people, and engage in the discharge of life is shared by all. Countless brothers and sisters are deprived of this fundamental right because of physical challenges, yearning for independence. The wheelchair embodies freedom and a renewed connection to life.

Through the project “Fraternity Beyond Obstacles: Wheelchair Support Project,” Türkiye Diyanet Foundation strives to reach disabled people with the advantage of mobility. Our objective is to promote their equal and independent involvement in education, the workforce, social settings, and everyday activities.

The project reaches beyond material aid to our disabled brothers and sisters; it is an expression of our society’s enduring spirit of compassion and solidarity. We hold that goodness grows as it is shared. Each step will dismantle barriers, nurture brotherhood, and raise collective awareness.

As part of the project, beneficiaries will be supported with manual or electric wheelchairs, receive guidance through awareness trainings, and benefit from activities aimed at strengthening societal consciousness of disability rights. In this way, our work goes beyond providing equipment; it uplifts lives and inspires a more inclusive and compassionate community.
