Fidiyah
Fidiyah amount is an amount of Zakat Al Fitr and consists of feeding a needy person for a full day, as stated in the verse. A day is calculated as 2 meals. The person who has to give Fidiyah can also provide it as money. Fasting Fidiyah can be offered regularly during the Holy Ramadan or altogether at the end of Holy Ramadan. Those who have not yet paid the Fidiyah, which is due during Ramadan, can provide it after Holy Ramadan. Fidiyah cannot be paid for the next month of Holy Ramadan, since it has not been reached yet.
You can deliver your Fidiyah to those in need through the Türkiye Diyanet Foundation. The minimum Fidiyah price is 130 TL.
